About Us We are professionals with combined experience of more than 40 years serving individuals with developmental disabilities in both the public and private sector. Julie Andrews Blacklock...a graduate of Southwestern University with over 18 years experience in the field of Mental Health/Mental Retardation. Julie has worked as direct care staff; a case manager and a QMRP through the OBRA, ICF/MR, MRLA and HCS programs. She was a service coordinator for Austin Travis County MHMR for 3 years. During the past 7 years, Julie has been employed as an HCS/ICFMR consultant to several local providers in the Austin area. Cyndy Burleson...a graduate of the University of Texas with over 25 years experience serving the developmentally disabled population. For 2 years, Cyndy was a Program Specialist in Medicaid Administration Utilization Review for DADS conducting reviews of both the HCS and ICF/MR programs. Before her state service, she worked at Austin Travis County MHMR as a Service Coordinator and a UR/Survey & Certification Specialist with the MRLA program. Beth Groffman…is the newest member of Twogether Consulting, Limited. Beth comes to us from MHMRA of Tarrant County, Provider Services, where she was employed for the past 12 years as the program manager over case management. Beth brings a wealth of experience to our team with over 25 years serving individuals with Mental Retardation. Beverly Weeks, RN, MSN…received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin. Beverly’s Masters degree is a double major in Nursing Administration and Psychiatric Nursing. Beverly has practiced nursing for many years in a wide variety of settings including an HCS provider for more than 3 years. Beverly has worn many hats in administration, supervisory, training/education and direct care positions. Beverly loves hands-on nursing as well as training others. Beverly serves as a nurse consultant and a presenter for Twogether’s class, “Nursing in the HCS Program”.
